In this illustrated lecture, Art Historian and Critic, Estelle Lovatt FRSA, follows in the footsteps of Romantic Realist landscape artist, John Constable, to when he lived in Hampstead. ‘Walking’ through his masterpieces, including Constable’s iconic, 'The Hay Wain', Estelle shows you where he lived, loved, worked and painted on the Heath and in the Village, NW3.

Estelle Lovatt is a freelance art critic for the BBC (radio and TV), Radio 2’s flagship arts programme The Arts Show with Claudia Winkleman‘, as well as for various independent radio stations throughout Great Britain. She writes reviews for numerous magazines and newspapers, including Art of England magazine. And lectures at the Hampstead School of Art, London. She has also written art exhibition catalogues, including ‘Henry Moore at Work’, and ‘Isis’ Halcyon Gallery, London.
