This course is for students who are confident in basic French conversation, wishing to improve their grammar and vocabulary. Students should have achieved A-level or equivalent or spend part of the year in France.
In this class we discuss a different topic each week, taken from French news, focusing on the exchange of ideas and accuracy of language in a friendly atmosphere allowing everybody to work at their own pace. We also explore cultural events and read French literature, both classic and modern.
Materials. Students will be asked to buy a novel. Other reading and listening material will be provided by the tutor.

Marie-Pierre Perez
Marie-Pierre qualified at the universities of Orleans and the Sorbonne in Paris. She has been teaching French in London for the past 15 years at several higher education institutions as well as providing language training for individual companies. Marie-Pierre is a trained actress and is passionate about theatre.
