Please note that this class takes place on the first floor meaning there is unfortunately no step-free access.

This course is for students who are already proficient and who wish to maintain and develop their skills. In this class speaking will be the main activity, and students will be encouraged to bring personal, cultural and topical news to the classroom and make short presentations about them.

Other activities include: reading and listening comprehensions, information gap activities in class and written work at home. Starting from the students oral and written production we then extend vocabulary and concentrate on accuracy of language. The target language will be used as much as possible, but in some cases grammatical explanations will be done in English. Please note that this group of students have just completed “Nuovo Espresso 4” (B2) libro dello studente e esercizi, Alma Edizioni, so in September 2026 they will go on to use: “Nuovo Espresso 5” (C1) libro dello studente e esercizi, Alma Edizioni. We will also chose a book to read and discuss for the Term
