This course is for students who have studied Italian for several years and aims to consolidate existing language knowledge and develop it further by expanding vocabulary, grammar and structures. Students will be encouraged to bring personal, social, cultural, and topical news to the group by way of brief presentations. Students will be asked to buy a novel, which will be read at home but analysed together in class. In this class we discuss different topics focusing on the exchange of ideas and accuracy of language in a friendly atmosphere where everybody can work at their own pace. The class will be taught fully in Italian, and a variety of teaching methods will be deployed to maximise opportunities to use the language.
