Highgate Gallery was founded in 1994 and is a bright modern space housed in the 19th-century vaulted hall within the HLSI. There is good natural light as well as a professional gallery lighting system. Work is hung on three sides of the hall, the fourth having a stage which is kept clear and can be used for related talks or screenings.
Highgate Gallery is run by a committee of artists, gallery managers and art collectors. The committee meets every two months and is always keen to see new work submitted for consideration.
Come and see our regularly changing programme or apply for an exhibition.
Opening Hours: Wednesday – Friday 13.00-17.00, Saturdays & Sundays 10.00-16.00. Gallery closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Friends of Highgate Gallery receive information on all exhibitions, invitations to Private Views and occasional talks by artists and visits to special art collections.
