An exhibition of paintings and prints in celebration of gardens large and small, rural and urban. Since time immemorial people have endeavoured to create places of tranquillity in communication with nature – places to uplift the spirits. Marilyn Southey’s work has mainly been inspired by her own gardens in London and in France. She quotes William Wordsworth, on discovering a flower-filled space, “my heart with pleasure fills….”
