This friendly class welcomes students of all abilities – the sessions are appropriate for complete beginners, those who want to improve their drawing skills and others with plenty of drawing experience.

The course, taught by Judy Purbeck MA, will cover: line, tone, proportion and basic anatomy; how to draw heads, hands & feet; and how to use various drawing media. There will be a different model each week in short and longer poses. A1 and A2 size drawing boards are provided in addition to paper.

The fees for this course include payment for the weekly model and the provision of paper.

Please bring your own drawing materials. To start with you will need charcoal (various widths), an eraser, a putty rubber, a graphite pencil (6B) and masking tape.
