Autumn 2026: Portrait and Clothed Figure Drawing

Starting with the skull, we will study basic anatomy, the structure of the head and how to draw facial features. There will be two models to draw at each session. Students can either concentrate on drawing one or both models. A few short poses will be followed by one long pose allowing time for careful study. The focus will be on working from observation.

Easels and A1 & A2 size drawing boards are provided in addition to paper.

Please bring your own drawing materials – e.g. charcoal, graphite, soft pastels and coloured pencils.

The fees for this class include payment for the models and the provision of paper.
